Who is behind Siam Visa Services?
Guidance built on first-hand experience, not copied fact sheets.
Mona Moore

Behind Siam Visa Services, a single point of contact: Thai, trilingual, and by your side from start to finish.
My name is Mona Moore. I'm Thai and trilingual: I work every day in French, English and Thai. For the past five years, I've guided French- and English-speakers through the formalities that come with settling in Thailand. My role comes down to one thing: making procedures that look opaque from abroad clear, efficient and compliant — and doing it in your own language.
These procedures — O-A visa, Thai bank account, 90-day report, re-entry permit — I handle for my clients every day. This is not theory: I know every counter, every required document and every deadline.
Why trust me?
Settling in Thailand isn't just about the visa. It also means getting a driving licence, opening a bank account, finding a home to rent or buy, purchasing and insuring a vehicle, or being supported through medical care — from booking the appointment to being there beside you at the doctor's or the hospital. These formalities quickly become a headache when you master neither the language nor the local system. And many French-speakers don't speak English, let alone Thai.
That's exactly where I come in. As a Thai national, I know how my country's administration works from the inside — a decisive advantage for anticipating obstacles and saving time. And because I speak your language, I bridge the gap between you and the authorities, as well as medical staff, with nothing lost along the way.
My approach is hands-on: I don't just point you in the right direction, I support you at every step — from preparing your file to submitting and following up on it, or from booking an appointment to accompanying you in person — efficiently and by the book. It's this end-to-end support, reliable and free of jargon, that makes the difference.
What I cover
My expertise covers the administrative procedures French nationals face in Thailand — not everything, but what I know first-hand:
Long-stay visas
O-A visa (1-year retirement), O-X visa (5-year retirement), DTV visa (digital nomads), LTR visa, extensions and renewals.
Administrative procedures
Driving licence, marriage in Thailand, bank account opening, 90-day report, re-entry permit.
Practical life
Health insurance, housing, cost of living, medical assistance — the concrete questions of settling in.
How I verify information
On YMYL topics (visas, taxation, law), approximation can be costly. Every piece of information published on this site is cross-checked against official sources: Thai Revenue Department texts, French Embassy in Thailand bulletins, impots.gouv.fr, the Thai Royal Gazette, and the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I systematically distinguish what has been decided from what is enforced. A government announcement is not law until the implementing text is published. Every article displays its last verification date.
If a piece of information cannot be confirmed by an official source, I say so. I prefer 'unverified as of today' to a false statement.
Since 2021
Siam Visa Services was founded in 2021. Since then, I have helped hundreds of French- and English-speakers with their procedures in Thailand — retirees settling in, couples getting married, entrepreneurs starting a business.
I am not a large firm and I don't pretend to be. This is a personal, direct service, with an identifiable person at the other end of the line: me.
